The committee is keen for the club to broaden its offering to its members and is in the process of arranging the first of hopefully several photographic challenges against other camera clubs for later this year.  These events will take place via zoom and the images appraised by an independent judge.

Trevor Perry has volunteered to coordinate our entry to these inter-club challenges and will initially draw upon the images submitted for our internal challenges and the 2021 club photobook.  As the selected images, derived from our website, are of insufficient resolution he will be requesting full resolution versions of all shortlisted images to critically appraise image quality and offer the authors the chance for selective enhancements to be made in the light of comments made during our internal monthly critiques.

Request:- You may have other images that you feel are better than those that you have submitted for our monthly challenges (especially for the newer members who have only recently started putting images into our challenges and so there are less to choose from).  If this is the case, please can I ask you to send Trevor a maximum of 5 such images for consideration.  Remember, if you want to be represented in these future inter-club challenges then you need to give yourself the strongest chance by putting your very best images forward.  Please email your images via Wetransfer to trevor.e.perry@btinternet.com .

Although the planned challenge is several months away, it would help Trevor if you could get images to him over the coming weeks.  There is quite a lot of work for him to do and there may be iterations between him and authors, all of which will take time.
